ForgeX Unveiled: The Future of Chest and Shoulder Training

The era of next-level strength training is here. Arsenal Strength introduces ForgeX, a revolutionary new line of gym equipment designed to push the boundaries of your workout. Revealed during the Dragon’s Lair x Arsenal Strength pop-up gym at Olympia 2025, ForgeX is engineered for serious strength athletes, bodybuilders, and anyone looking to push their limits.

What is ForgeX?

ForgeX is built around a linkage system, which ties the main movement arm to a mechanical linkage that ensures consistent resistance through the entire range of motion.

“The ForgeX line features a linkage system which helps keep the user in the ‘sweet spot’ and maintains a consistent strength curve throughout the movement,” says Andrew Hall, CEO and Co-Founder of Arsenal Strength.

“Our ReLoaded line has a vast array of movements but is loaded directly on the work arms of the machine, giving it a heavier feel. While that was intentional, we wanted to create a plate-loaded line that offers a consistent curve using counterbalances and linkage systems, making the movements more accessible for different body types. We still provide full adjustability so users can dial in each exercise for their body.”

Chest and Shoulders

Converging Chest Press

2-2
Smooth, converging motion for maximum chest engagement. Adjustable seat and back angle allow all users to hit the perfect alignment. The rail slide and linkage system ensure tension is maintained throughout the press, targeting the inner and mid-chest fibers effectively.

Wide Chest Press

1-2
Multiple grips, adjustable back and seat, and ISO lateral motion. The linkage system provides consistent resistance across the full range, emphasizing outer pectoral development and maintaining proper joint alignment.

Shoulder Press

3-1
ISO lateral motion, multiple grips, adjustable back and seat. Each press feels guided yet unrestricted, giving targeted deltoid engagement while reducing risk of strain.

Pec Fly (Decline)

4-2
Large handles, ISO lateral movement, and adjustable seat. The linkage system ensures smooth motion and constant resistance, allowing full contraction and stretch of the chest for optimal muscle growth.

Why ForgeX Features Matter for Your Training

  • Adjustable Seats & Back Pads: Customize alignment for every body type, maximizing muscle engagement.
  • ISO Lateral Motion: Each arm works independently, improving symmetry and activation.
  • Linkage System: Provides consistent, controlled resistance through the entire motion, enhancing strength and hypertrophy while reducing joint stress.
  • Customizable Grips: Multiple hand positions allow you to target muscles from different angles.
  • Smooth Motion Systems: Optimized mechanics make each rep more effective and safer.

ForgeX transforms the way you train.

ForgeX Frequently Asked Questions

How does the linkage system improve my workout?

The linkage system ensures smooth, controlled motion throughout the full range of each exercise, keeping muscles under constant tension while reducing stress on joints.

Background From Our CEO

Why ForgeX?

“The name ForgeX comes from ‘Forge,’ which reflects our craftsmanship, steel, and strength—it balances raw toughness with refined engineering. The ‘X’ represents our 10th year in business,” says Andrew Hall.

Development Timeline

“The ForgeX line has been in development for the past 18 months. Our goal was to expand our catalog and provide linkage-style movements that complement the ReLoaded line. While this isn’t filling a gap in the market per se, it’s a response to gym owners who love our products and want more options. The feedback has been incredible, and we’re thrilled to see these machines across the globe. We are the Masters of Strength, and ForgeX solidifies that position in the industry.”

Introduction to Strength Training

Strength training is a foundational element of any effective fitness routine, offering significant benefits for overall health and well-being. By incorporating weight machines, smith machines, free weights, or functional trainers into your workouts, you can build muscle, boost endurance, and support long-term health. For women’s health in particular, strength training is essential—it helps maintain bone density, reduces the risk of osteoporosis, and lowers the chance of injury. Selecting the right equipment and creating a balanced routine that targets all major muscle groups ensures optimal results.

Choosing the Right Equipment

Selecting the right equipment is key to reaching your fitness goals and minimizing the risk of injuries. Weight machines provide stability, free weights offer flexibility, and functional trainers improve functional fitness. Look for machines with adjustable resistance, full range of motion, and linkage-style systems to support safe, effective, and progressive workouts.

Types of Equipment

  • Linkage Machines: Provide consistent resistance and maintain a natural strength curve, making them easier for different body types.
  • Plate-Loaded Machines: Offer a heavier feel and direct load on the work arms for maximal strength development.
  • Selectorized Machines: Ideal for smooth, guided movements with adjustable weights for controlled training.

By understanding the strengths of each type of equipment, you can create a well-rounded training program that supports your fitness goals.
